What is fiber cement? Where can it be applied?

Fiber cement is a reinforced building material consisting of cement, sand and mineral fillers. The possibilities of using the material are endless, most often fiber-cement boards are used for finishing the facade of high-rise and low-rise buildings, arranging interior decoration, as a fixed formwork and filing the roof. It has no restrictions in use, it can be used for external and internal work. Fiber cement is an extremely durable and fairly flexible material.

Where are your products manufactured?

Fiber cement boards are produced at the Hekim Yapi factory in Turkey. The annual production capacity is more than 2,000,000 sq.m. fiber cement products per year. The products have all the necessary international certificates.

What is the warranty for fiber cement boards?

The manufacturer provides a 10 year warranty on the material. This product is resistant to cracking, rot and insect damage.

What is the service life of Hekim Yapi panels?

The service life is more than 50 years.

What is the flammability class of the material?

Fiber cement belongs to the non-combustible class. Suitable for indoor use for ceiling, wall, sauna, boiler room, chimney, etc.

Material coloring.

We offer unpainted fiber cement boards, they can be painted in any color you wish. We cooperate with leading paint companies in the form of Remmers, Tikkurila and Feidal. You can order painting from us or paint the material yourself according to our recommendations. The paint warranty is 7 years.

Environmental friendliness.

The material is absolutely eco-friendly, suitable for indoor use and does not harm the environment.

How to cut fiber cement boards?

Any hand tool can be used for cutting. We recommend using a carbide-tipped electric jigsaw, a hand-held circular saw with a diamond blade.

What fasteners are used when installing fiber cement boards?

Fiber cement panels are mounted on a supporting structure. The supporting structure can be a galvanized structure or wooden slats. Panels are fastened with rivets and screws.
